Payback Mode

Payback Mode is for credit cards and loan accounts you are paying back over time.

Credit cards in Payback Mode still show their transactions on the Roo Money screen. When you swipe a card transaction into a pouch, that money moves into your Payback Pouch, which sets aside the money to pay the card back.

Loans in Payback Mode work a little differently. Roo does not bring in the loan’s transactions for swiping. Instead, you pay the loan down from the Payback Pouch, usually through your Debt Payback Plan.

A credit card usually stays in Payback Mode whether you are paying down a balance or paying it off in full each month. See Credit Card Strategy.
