Account

An account held by a bank. You access your accounts by connecting them to Roo through a bank aggregator. Once connected, Roo assigns each account one of the following statuses:

Account types: The various types of bank and financial accounts someone can have.

• checking
• savings
• cash
• Venmo or PayPal
• credit card
• loan
• investment
• unknown
• other asset

Account Behavior Types: The bahavior types determine how Roo treats the balance and the transactions of the account.

• On Budget — Included in your day-to-day budget
• Off Budget — Tracked for net worth only
• Payback Mode — Special handling for paying back credit cards and other debt
• Hidden — Excluded from everything
