How Roo Chooses an Aggregator

Each aggregator connects to different institutions with varying degrees of reliability. Roo selects the most stable aggregator for each bank automatically.

Connection Stability

Connection reliability depends largely on your bank. Banks that support OAuth typically only require you to re-authenticate once a year. If you’re frequently asked to repair your connection, your bank likely doesn’t support OAuth.

Credit unions and regional banks are more likely to lack support for modern authentication methods, which can lead to less stable connections. Roo continuously works with our data partners to improve connection reliability.
