Assigning Dollars

When income arrives, assign it across your categories. This is the core of budgeting with Roo — give every dollar a job.

Overspending

If you overspend in a category, Roo shows you immediately. You can cover it by moving money from another category — no judgment, just flexibility.

Tips

• Start with broad categories and refine over time.
• Don’t forget to budget for irregular expenses (car maintenance, annual subscriptions).
• Check your budget at least once a week to stay on track.
