Envelope Budgeting
A method where you allocate money into virtual “envelopes” (categories) before spending it — the core philosophy behind Roo.
Historically, people used physical envelopes stuffed with cash for each spending category. Roo digitizes this approach: every dollar is assigned to a category before it’s spent, giving you full control.

What is an account in Roo?
A financial account tracked in Roo — can be a bank account, credit card, loan, or any other account.
Accounts are the foundation of your budget. Each account holds a balance and records transactions. You can add accounts manually or connect them via account linking.
